At its place of safety in Turffontein, Johannesburg, children of all races are cared for - particularly in regard to their physical and emotional restoration - until their parents have been counseled and assisted with their problems. If parents are successfully rehabilitated, their children can return home - if not, and parents are declared unfit, the children will remain at Cotlands, to be fostered and hopefully adopted.
