I decided to start this company, as there was a new trend starting in the HIV positive communities in the country. Due to many relationships ending abruptly as one of the partners are HIV positive and they do not want to infect their loved ones they felt it was necessary to end this relations. My wife and I both have friends who are HIV+ and they find it hard to disclose their status to their respective dates and in this way I felt starting a online dating service for people living with HIV/AIDS would eliminate the stress and emotional difficulty of disclosing your status to your partner.  In this way should they meet someone on my site, they can be sure that individual is in the same boat as they are. Therefore there is no emotional pressure explaining your current health status. I thought it would add a little class to how they can meet new and interesting people.   I also felt as a company I would be very successful and I  should give back to the community who is facing the longest and hardest battle, by donating 10% of all the company’s profits to a different HIV/AIDS related charity each month.
